What brand of sight is that. just bought one for my metal recurve and I still have a return window. That one looks like it adjust for canting left or right.

@ the end of the video you speak of sight path. Should I be setting my aim while performing the sight path, before or during after I start drawing my bow?

Just managed to do one of these without surgical tweezers and the spool dispenser. I dropped the spool about 20 times and needed both hands and my teeth at several stages. Popping an elastic band around the spool and slowly twisting out thread (to keep the dispensed thread taught) might be a simple alternative.

the only bow iv ever shot was at summer camp back in high school. my cross country team went to a ymca summer camp so the the bows were meant for kids so im sure it was to small for all of us. it was fun though :)

Love your stuff and Ive been watching for a long time. Throughout the video you show a pull here and there. What I would find REALLY helpful in this (and other videos) is if you did the pull many times from one angle, then the same from one or two different angles. For me, at least, that would make it easier to try and mimic your movement.

thanks, what about finishing with a double knot? then cutting and burning? and...what about wax instead of superglue? This way you can move it if needed in time.

It could be a reason for off-target aiming (more arrows to the right side) if back tension is not consistent despite consistency on anchor point?

My bow arm is always bent. How to prevent it?

I am learning archery from a teacher atm. We learn that you cant put the string picture anywhere on the sight pin. We should use any place on or near (left or right from) the riser. The reason given is that the sight pin will move when you adjust the visor (for instance when changing distance from 18 to 25 meter). Choosing the same position on the riser at all times, you limit the variables, making each shot point the same direction.

What you say is exact the same important moments as in most other shooting. Werry good.

Nice video but I see no reason for the spool.

I have none of these issues. I can't rotate my elbow so what I have is all I get.
